Mother Agnes Foundation

Mother Agnes Foundation, was established in 2014 in Telangana, India. Telangana-based pasture root level NGO is involved in Charity work for all classes of society. A Team of youth, who have a passion for social service and compassion towards the sufferings of the disadvantaged sections of society, came together and formed “MOTHER AGNES FOUNDATION”.

In Telangana, rural life is very hard. Half of the population of Telangana lives below the poverty line. Many are illiterate. There is not enough work and families in this area must struggle to survive. Parents take child laborers to work on cotton and rice crops and to look after livestock and 43% of children under 14 earn a living in these fields helping support their families. The hours are long, the pay is minimal, and the work is tiring.
