Disaster Relief Programs
Mother Agnes Foundation has not yet had the opportunity to work in the area in disaster-affected areas, but we do not lag behind in helping in such areas, our team has provided food, clothing, basic essentials, and medicines for disaster-affected areas.
Mother Agnes Foundation India is now building on people’s participation in various regions in the state to build their capabilities on disaster preparedness and response to provide a quick emergency response so that we can overcome the situation in the coming times. Your material and money can make a huge difference to the rehabilitation work in disaster-affected areas.
Proposed New Animal Husbandry & Dairy Farm:
The MOTHER AGNES FOUNDATION plans to start a dairy form – Animal Husbandry in Sircilla, Telangana, at an estimated cost of Rs. 15,00,000/- (Fifteen Lacks). The challenges faced by our country in securing food as well as nutritional security for fast-growing population need an integrated approach to livestock farming.
Among the various livestock species, Buffalo, piggery & sheep are the most potent source of dairy products and more efficient feed converters after the broiler. Apart from providing Milk & meat, they are also a source of bristles and manure. Farming will provide employment opportunities to seasonally employed rural farmers and supplementary income to improve their living standards. Local families will be given priority for the employees to have a regular income.

Distribution of Educational Material to poor students
Many students in our service area are dropping out of school before graduation since their parents cannot afford to provide uniforms, textbooks, school bags, and other items. Their parents are mainly working in shops & establishments, market yards, and hotels or work as auto drivers, rickshaw pullers, vegetable vendors, or domestic help. We motivate their parents through counseling sessions to send their children to school.
MOTHER AGNES FOUNDATION has been providing educational material to these poor children who attend Government Schools. We provide educational material consisting of textbooks, notebooks, geometry boxes, pencils, pens, school uniforms, clothes, shoes, school bags, and lunch boxes. We select the candidates through personal visits to their homes to assess their family background. We also take inputs from the school headmasters to select the students who are doing well in their studies.
So far we have provided such support to about 83 students studying in classes from 5th to 10th standard. There is a pressing need to help more poor and needy students for continuing their education. You can donate educational material for these deserving children, and thereby ensure that they do not drop out of school.
Proposed New Building for the Education
The Foundation plans to construct a 4000 sq. ft building for underprivileged students in Vemulawada, Telangana, at an estimated cost of Rs. 40,00,000/- (Forty Lacks) to accommodate more children under a conducive atmosphere.

Software Training to Unemployed Youth
“Sponsor Skill Development Training in Computer Education for Adolescent Girls”
There is great demand for computer-trained professionals in Vemulawada (AP) and Madurai (TN) towns and other districts of Andhra Pradesh. Considering this demand, we have developed a computer education project as part of skills development initiative. MOTHER AGNES FOUNDATION has identified the need for training computers for the educated unemployed youth. We select poor youth from rural villages, and urban slums based on their family income, which should be low or below the poverty line to be eligible for this program.
Every financial year we select 50 deserving poor youth (Madurai – TN) to impart 6 months’ software training. The course syllabus includes Computer Fundamentals, MS Office, DTP, Internet Concepts, and Soft Skills. We mainly concentrate on job-oriented courses to create sustainable livelihoods and employment opportunities. During the training, we provide study material to all the trainees free of cost.
